Nurses and Midwives based at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH) are provided with this handheld guide to revalidate with the Nurses and Midwives Council (NMC) in the UK.
CUH started the process of revalidation alongside yearly appraisals, so Nurses and Midwives can keep up-to-date with the revalidation requirements.
The revalidation process supports professionalism through closer alignment with the NMC Code of Conduct by improving public protection and ensuring Nurses and Midwives remain fit to continue to practice throughout their nursing career.
